Roofing Contractor in Star, Idaho

Star has grown fast and it has grown outward — new subdivisions dropped onto open ground with very little between them and the weather.

Wind is the story here

Roofs in Star take more wind loading than roofs a few miles east, and it isn't close. Open agricultural land upwind, few mature trees, and long uninterrupted roof planes give wind exactly what it needs: an edge to get under. What we see as a result is lifted and creased shingles along ridges, rakes and eaves — shingles still physically in place but with the seal broken, which means the next storm takes them off entirely.

It's also the damage homeowners are least likely to notice, because from the ground the roof looks intact.

What we do about it

On re-roofs we spec wind-rated material and fasten to it properly, and we pay particular attention to edge detail and starter course — the places wind actually attacks. On inspections we specifically check seal integrity along the exposed edges rather than just looking for missing shingles.

Re-roofs, repairs, free wind and storm inspections, and new construction roofing for the builders working Star's active phases. Free estimates across Star and the surrounding area.

Hail & Storm Damage Roof Repair in Star

When hail or a windstorm moves through Star, we'll inspect your roof for free, photograph every hit, and tell you straight whether there's enough damage to file an insurance claim. If there is, we meet your adjuster on site and work from the approved scope through the final invoice. We're a local, Idaho-licensed roofer (RCE-3281728), not a crew that follows the weather.
